How to Play Grid Paths

Goal: connect every pair of matching colored squares, each with one continuous path, without any paths crossing or sharing a square. Easy is a 5x5 grid with 3 pairs; Hard is a bigger 6x6 grid with 4 pairs and longer, more tangled paths.

Controls: click a colored square to start, then click adjacent squares to extend the path, then click the matching square to finish it. You don't need to fill every square on the grid — only the squares your paths actually pass through matter. You can switch to a different color mid-path and come back to it later; your progress on each color is kept.

Tips:

  • Start with the pair that looks most constrained (closest together, or boxed in by grid edges) before the more open ones.
  • You can't route through another color's endpoint square, and once a color's path is finished none of its squares can be reused — if a move is rejected, the status message will tell you why.
  • Click Reset any time if your paths box each other in — there's no penalty for starting over.
